Suggestions for how to make a small pantry more space efficient

Our main pantry is pretty dang small. My wife and I feel like we're constantly fighting against the space, and we end up just stacking stuff on other stuff. I think the main issues are that the shelves are too spaced apart vertically, and that they're also pretty shallow. Does anyone have recommendations for a better organization system in here? I'd...

Wet Underfloor Heating advice

I'm redoing a small bathroom and I was thinking about putting in wet underfloor heating while I have the floor up and access to the pipes. This will be in addition to a towel heater going in the room. The problem is, is that the room is only about 2sqm of area for the underfloor heating (rest is taken up by basin, WC, shower etc) so is it worth it for...

Installing an exterior door and ran into a problem. Exterior is above interior?

Replacing a French door with a same size French door. Should be easy install but when I took out the old one I realized the previous installer just put the door directly on floor and installed a patio above it. Subfloor for LVP

Please see attached photos. Plan is to lay lvp on all exposed subfloor as well as the pulled back carpet portion. Upon inspection it looks like there are 2 or so layers of subfloor. Do I fill in the pulled...

How many watts for bedroom baseboard heater?

I need to replace my 11ft by 11ft bedroom’s baseboard heater. The primary heating source is a mini split (in the bedroom) but I need a backup plan for some rare occasions (I’m in Quebec, winters may be cold). House built in 2004 with brand new windows. How many watts would be enough for the heater? 750? 1000? submitted by /u/Classic-Knee-5227...

How can I remove this tile? What tools should I use?

I don't mean the whole tile, just the toothbrush/soap holder parts that stick out. This is our only bathroom and counter space is non-existent. And of course, these don't hold modern tools like electric toothbrushes and liquid soap pumps. Anything I could do to even get a few more square inches of counter space around the sink would help a ton! This...
