What is the Saved section?

Saved is the tab in the tab bar that holds what you keep in your account rather than what your feeds deliver. Click it, or press G then F, and the sidebar lists Read later, Archive, Annotations, Web pages, Uploads and Intelligence reports, with your Tags below them.

Read later and Archive

Read later is your reading list: the articles you saved with the Read later icon or F, and the web pages you saved from outside your feeds. It opens first when you click the tab, and the badge on the tab counts the articles in it. The Archive holds the saved articles you finished and want to keep. An article is in one of the two lists, never in both: saving an archived article moves it back to Read later, and archiving an article takes it out of Read later.

Both lists open in the Reading list layout, one row per article with its picture, title, source, length and date, and both remember how far you've read each article: the row reads "Resume (27 min left)" or "Finished" in Read later and "52% read" in the Archive. The chips under the header narrow the list down, to the articles In progress or Finished, or to Articles, Videos and Podcasts. The video shows how saving works.

Web pages, Annotations, Uploads and Intelligence reports

Web pages lists every page you saved from outside your feeds with the Add button, the browser extension, the bookmarklet or a mobile app. Annotations, Uploads and Intelligence reports have sections of their own.

Tags

Below the divider, the Tags heading lists your tags, with a Manage tags icon that opens the tags dashboard and a New tag icon next to it. Each tag opens the articles you tagged with it.

Each section has a menu, opened with the small arrow next to the section title or by right-clicking the item in the sidebar, with Set as start page and Manage system folders; Read later adds Properties. Read later and the Archive also have a More menu, the three dots at the right end of the header, with the layout, the sorting, the Reading progress switch and, in Read later, Archive all. Read later, Archive and Web pages have a search box in the header, which covers the newest 10,000 saved articles of that section.

Articles you opened but didn't save

Articles you opened without saving them aren't in Saved: find them under Recently read in the profile panel, behind the avatar at the bottom of the tab bar. The Archive here is your own collection and is separate from the history of your feeds.

Plans

Saved, Read later, the Archive, reading progress and Web pages are on every plan (see Save articles and read them when you have time). Annotations and Uploads are Pro, and Intelligence reports are an add-on.
